The monolama grid is the most popular open microcell metal ceiling system, a “classic” of contemporary architecture that CEIR has revisited and perfected over the years to offer you, today, a more versatile and lightweight solution than ever before.
“SINGLE” PROFILES - PLAIN or PERFORATED
Gridded modules are composed of square or rectangular cells with a very thin aluminium monolama profile, smooth or perforated. The simplicity and finesse of this detail is designed to allow you to bring geometric order and visual interest to any space, whether small or large, adding depth and backlighting that can really make your design concept shine.
In addition, the small cell size also allows monolama grid to be used for other purposes than suspended ceilings, for example, for masking ventilation system, shielding lighting fixtures, and for other types of vertical and decorative installations.
Made from 100% recyclable, ultra-light, durable and high-performance material, CEIR's gridded ceiling can be installed with concealed or exposed suspension and is available in a wide range of colors and finishes to make you to achieve the desired look.
The 3 main versions of Monolama are:
– straight-bladed QR1
– with inclined blade QRi
– with multidirectional blade QRs, QRy QRx.
Panels with other cell types are manufactured upon request.
Monolama grids come in 1200×600 mm modular panels, composed of aluminum blades that assembled form cells whose dimensions vary depending on the request.
Cell size from 13×13 mm up to 150×150 mm.
Height from 13 mm up to 100 mm.
Monolama modules can be microperforated to meet the requirements of sound absorption and room ventilation.
Standard perforations are:
1.50 mm hole, 22% opening, 3 mm pitch
2.50 mm hole, 19% opening, 5 mm pitch.
Both for pre-painted and post-painted aluminum a wide choice of finishes is available according to the colors in the RAL, NCS, pantone and sikkens. By intervening with painting after assembly, the blades
appear in a perfect and uniform color on the entire surface.
With the ceiling system solutions designed from Ceir for Monolama, designers and architects can define their projects while producing a

CEIR ceilings are classified as “non-combustible” according to international standards.

Upon request, Monolama ceiling is also available in earthquake-proof version with Delta Anti-Seismic system (trackless) and T24 Anti-Seismic system (visible).
