Whatever your project, whatever your architectural vision, there will always be a CEIR colour you can use to bring it to life. All our ceilings can be customised by choosing from a wide variety of available colours and finishes, giving you virtually endless colour possibilities to make your design project truly unique.

Colour is determined by the light that objects reflect or emit and that is perceived by the eyes. It is a form of artistic expression, using hues, shades and colour combinations to generate feelings, emotions and meanings, and is therefore considered an essential element of architecture. It can significantly influence the atmosphere and perception of a space, conveying a feeling of calm or activation, openness or closure, lightness or heaviness.

Colour can be used to create contrast between surfaces, highlighting elements such as windows, doors, columns, or to integrate the architecture itself with its surroundings, for example by choosing shades that recall those of nature.

Colour can also define a hierarchy between spaces, for example, distinguishing public areas from private ones, or restore a sense of cohesion between different architectural elements, such as walls, ceilings, floors, when they are made in the same colour.

Finally, through bright and vivid hues, we can create an energetic and stimulating atmosphere and offer a sensory experience to people within a given environment.

THE CEIR PAINT SYSTEM: PERFORMANCE AND SUSTAINABILITY

CEIR offers customisation of its ceilings with both pre-painted and post-painted colours. The robotic paint system we use in our factory to colour aluminium has a very low environmental impact and allows for perfect aesthetic results, both in terms of quality and quantity of colours available.

More specifically, the painting system adopted by CEIR is characterised by these advantages and strengths.

Wood texture
This category of open cell aluminum ceilings is characterized by finishes that mimic the natural look of wood. This option allows for a warm and welcoming wood-like aesthetic while benefiting from the advantages of aluminum, such as durability and longevity.

Standard colors
Pre-painted open cell ceilings are produced in the factory with a layer of paint applied to the aluminum surface. This coating offers a wide range of standard colors and provides good protection against wear and corrosion. Pre-painted ceilings can be chosen in various colors, allowing for easy coordination with the interior design.

  • Standard gloss for colored: 20-22 gloss
  • Gloss for silver: 30-35 gloss
  • Reflectance of main colors:
    White: High reflectance, ideal for increasing brightness in spaces.
    Silver: Medium reflectance, offers a modern appearance and reflects light adequately.
    Gray, Black: Low reflectance, ideal for spaces requiring light control.
    Red: Variable reflectance depending on the tone, tends to reflect less than the white or silver finish.

Painted colors
This category of open cell aluminum ceilings is produced with pre-painted strips or coated only with primer. The paint is applied directly to the aluminum surface after the completion of the finished piece. This option offers greater color flexibility, allowing customization according to design preferences or specific standards. It covers every part of the panel and can make the parts of the structure uniform if required.

Post-Painted with Special Coatings: Special coatings allow for the best performance for peculiar applications, such as external installations, swimming pools, and high humidity environments. They may have a variable gloss range depending on the specific requirements of the application.

  • Gloss on request: From 7/8 gloss up to 60 gloss

Metallic colors
Metallic open cell aluminum ceilings feature a glossy or satin metallic finish. This type of finish adds an elegant and modern look to the environment and is particularly suitable for contemporary or high-profile design projects.
